Thank you for choosing Loaves 'n Fishes Catering. The following Terms and Conditions have been established to assist you in arranging your function and to ensure the highest level of quality in your services. We are committed to personalizing your event details. 
 
Estimate:
  • In order to provide an accurate estimate we require event information such as menu selection, guest count, location, staff requirements, facilities and equipment available, duration and time of the event.
  • Pricing of your event will be completed after the first meeting and sent to you once all details of your event are determined and agreed upon.  
  • HST will be added to all estimates. 
Payment:
  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required on the first meeting, which will be applied to the client's account upon booking. 
  • Private functions: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure Loaves 'n Fishes Catering. The balance of payment to be made without exception on the day of the event.
  • Corporate functions:  Deposit and balance of payment are negotiable for corporate clients. 
  • Staffing: Loaves 'n Fishes Catering must provide ALL professional staff and bartenders when required. No exceptions. A 20% service fee is applied. Charges apply for staff hours incurred above the initial estimate. 
  • Delivery charges and set up fees: Are based on the location and size of your event in the case of drop-off only events.
  • Cancellation: Costs incurred by Loaves 'n Fishes Catering in preparation of the event up to the time of cancellation will be included in the final invoice. 
  • Rentals: Are available for stemware, dishes, cutlery and linens. 
Timeline:
  • Menu selection: Must be made two weeks prior to the event.  Our team will do our very best to accommodate last minute orders based on availability. 
  • Last-minute changes: Our team will make every effort to accommodate your requests. Our food is made fresh and with the finest of ingredients, and as a result we will not always be able to accommodate last minute changes. 
  • The final guest count: Is due 7 days in advance of your scheduled event. Increases that are able to be accommodated after the final guaranteed deadline are subject to additional charges. 
Safety Considerations:
  • Food: Due to strict food handling policies in Ontario, Loaves 'n Fishes Catering can only take part in an event in which ALL food has been provided by us.  Specialty wedding cakes are the only exception to this policy.
  • Alcohol: We reserve the right to request identification and/or to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to a guest. All liquor permits and any additional insurance coverage is up the the event organizer to purchase and organize.
 
Billing arrangements for all events must be made in accordance with our policies unless otherwise negotiated.
